Total cost of ownership
EngagementHub centralizes engagement-domain state inside the workspace while reusing configured platform providers for audiences, files and communication routing. This keeps content, customer actions, operational queues and application integration under one workspace authorization model.
Assumptions
- EngagementHub runs as an installed Velaxe workspace application with workspace roles and permissions.
- Audience, notification-routing and secure-file providers are connected through the application’s declared provider contracts when those functions are used.
Migration plan
From Cvent content, campaign, audience and engagement records selected for migration · Map governed content and campaign concepts into EngagementHub records, configure workspace permissions and provider integrations, create audience snapshots, then move customer-facing reads and actions to the canonical capability surface.
-
1
Create workspace roles and assign the required EngagementHub permissions.
-
2
Configure secure-file, notification-routing and audience-provider integrations used by the workspace.
-
3
Import or recreate governed content, categories, tags, placements and campaign records.
-
4
Create audience selections and snapshots for active targeting.
-
5
Connect customer-facing applications through Handler, RCP or scoped Bridge operations, then enable required EventBus subscriptions or signed webhooks.
Security
- Browser operations use trusted AppExecutionContext, workspace permissions and route security classes.
- Application calls use operation grants plus workspace-owned or caller-owned resource authorization.
- Secrets use Core AppSecretService; Bridge v2 adds HMAC-SHA256 signing, replay/rate controls and optional IP policy; webhooks use HTTPS signing and retries.

About EngagementHub
EngagementHub gives workspace teams one governed system for news, announcements, events, promotions and coordinated campaigns. Content shares a common publishing model for titles, summaries, bodies, categories, tags, calls to action, media references, attachments, visibility, placements, related records, versions and publication state.
Editorial work moves through configurable review and approval steps before immediate or scheduled publication. The publication engine maintains schedules, expiry, feed indexing and per-viewer feed state. Events add occurrences, registration windows, capacity, waitlists, attendance, reminders and feedback. Promotions add codes, claims and claim lifecycle records. Campaigns add goals, channels, assets, stages, runs and measurable outcomes.
Audience targeting is provider-driven. EngagementHub discovers applications that advertise the audience-provider contract, loads catalogues and categories, establishes least-privilege provider access, and freezes returned members into reproducible snapshots. Secure media is delegated to the configured file-storage provider, while queued communication requests are handed to the configured notification-routing provider.
For application interoperability, EngagementHub exposes a canonical capability runtime across Handler, RCP and Bridge v2, implements the eight-operation ContextResolver contract, publishes domain events through the platform EventBus, consumes trusted project-reference and email-delivery events, and supports signed outbound webhooks with retries and delivery logs.
