AccessGuard — Integration

Use AccessGuard dynamic account segments such as all registered users, approved users, roles, permissions, account statuses, access levels, and channel preferences.

Overview

Use AccessGuard dynamic account segments such as all registered users, approved users, roles, permissions, account statuses, access levels, and channel preferences.

Capabilities

  • Expose workspace-safe dynamic user segment definitions

  • Support parameterized segments such as users with a selected role, permission, access level, or account state

  • Preview matched account counts without exposing unnecessary profile data

  • Create frozen snapshots for outbound campaign stages

  • Support live audience evaluation for customer-portal visibility

  • Respect account state, communication preferences, and identity ownership

Setup Steps (6)

  1. 1

    Step 1

Add the audience-provider capability and standard segment controller operations to AccessGuard.

  2. 2

    Step 2

Declare segments such as all registered users, approved users, pending approval, users by role, users by permission, and users by access level.

  3. 3

    Step 3

For parameterized definitions, return a field schema and lookup source.

  4. 4

    Step 4

Select AccessGuard in EngagementHub, choose a segment, and supply required values.

  5. 5

    Step 5

Preview the match and request a snapshot for outbound use or retain a live rule for portal visibility.

  6. 6

    Step 6

During downstream delivery, re-check account state and current channel consent through the responsible service.

Limitations

  • AccessGuard should expose only workspace-scoped users and permitted identity fields.

  • A frozen audience does not override later opt-out, suspension, deletion, or invalid contact status.

  • Business relationship segments such as reservation or payment state belong to the app that owns those facts, not AccessGuard.

FAQs

Should AccessGuard store campaign records?

No. It supplies account audiences and identity/consent truth; EngagementHub owns campaign and content records.

Can approved users be evaluated live?

Yes. Live evaluation is appropriate for portal visibility, while outbound dispatch should use a frozen snapshot.

Can the segment ask for a role?

Yes. Its parameter schema can request role_id and provide a lookup definition for the UI.
