Confirm ProjectBoard publishes update events
In ProjectBoard Settings → Events, ensure update publish events are enabled (projectboard.update.published).

Configure OccupancyCore audience resolution
In OccupancyCore, enable listener for projectboard.update.published and configure which assignment statuses qualify.

Wire delivery channels
Subscribe NotifyCenter and EmailHub to OccupancyCore audience events (preferred) or directly to ProjectBoard events (advanced).

Test customers-only update delivery
Publish a customers-only update and confirm customers receive in-app notifications and emails with the correct deep link.

Post progress updates on a schedule or publish instantly. Updates support categories (configurable per workspace), attachments, and visibility rules (public, customers-only, internal). When an update is published, ProjectBoard emits events so other apps can resolve audience and deliver notifications—without ProjectBoard needing to know who the customers are.
