Amazon S3 — Integration

Overview

Use S3 buckets for cold/archive storage with signed URLs, lifecycle transitions (Glacier), and minimal egress via provider links.

Capabilities

• Per‑bucket routing & prefix strategy (Velaxe/<Workspace>/...)

• Presigned URLs for upload/download; optional KMS‑CMK encryption

• Lifecycle rules for transition/expiration (e.g., Glacier)

• Server‑side and client‑side checksum validation

• EventBridge/S3 notifications for delta

   Create an S3 bucket and (optionally) enable default encryption (SSE‑KMS).

Limitations

• No native previews; File-Vault can proxy thumbnails if enabled.
